FumblePrivacy policy
Fumble ("we", "us") is operated by Maunil Parikh. This policy explains what we collect when you use Fumble, why, and the controls you have.
What Fumble is
Fumble is a growth assistant that works inside your Slack workspace and, if you connect it, your Google account. You install it, you invite it to channels, and you approve every message it sends on your behalf.
Information we collect
- Slack data. Your workspace ID, your Slack user ID, the channels you invite Fumble to, and the messages in those channels that mention Fumble or that you send to it directly. We store these to run your requests and to keep an audit trail of what Fumble did and why.
- Company context you provide. Your company name, product, positioning, target customers, and approved and banned claims. You can edit or delete this at any time.
- Google account data (only if you connect Gmail). Your Google account email and ID, the permissions you granted, and, for a specific task you start, the email threads Fumble needs to read to do that task. Fumble sends email only as you, only to recipients you approved, with content you approved.
- Operational records. Logs and traces of each run, including which model was used, timing, and token counts. Secrets and message bodies are redacted from logs.
Google user data
Fumble requests the Gmail scopes gmail.readonly and gmail.send, plus your basic profile, so that it can read the specific threads a task needs and send messages you have individually approved. Fumble does not read your whole mailbox, does not use Gmail data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to train machine-learning models. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are deleted when you disconnect.
Fumble’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- To run the tasks you ask for and show you the plan, drafts, and results in Slack.
- To keep an audit trail so you can see every action, its approval, and its outcome.
- To send AI model providers the minimum text needed to produce a plan or draft. We use Anthropic and Amazon Bedrock as model providers under their business terms, which do not permit training on your data.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Fumble: Slack, Google (when you connect Gmail), our model providers, and our hosting providers. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Email bodies retrieved for a task are kept only while that task is active and are removed within 30 days unless you keep the related experiment open. Message identifiers, headers, hashes, and audit records are kept for as long as your account is active. Disconnecting Gmail revokes and deletes the stored tokens. Uninstalling Fumble from Slack revokes its Slack token.
Your controls
You can disconnect Google, uninstall the Slack app, ask us to export or delete your data, or ask questions at support@tryfumble.com. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access tokens are encrypted with keys held outside the database. Every row of data is scoped to your workspace and enforced at the database layer.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in your Slack workspace.
